Administering Sananga
The Sananga medicine experience invites us to step out of our comfort zone.
Applying to the eyes creates a burning sensation for a few minutes.
This pain is important for the healing process.
Our body is a vehicle for our infinite spirit.
It comes with emotions, physical sensations, the mind, and other gifts, but any of they does not define us.
We are the awareness that looks through our eyes.
Yet, we often forget this and identify too much with physical sensations.
Sananga medicine offers an opportunity to observe discomfort and breathe through it.
Deep breathing can help you journey through the experience.
Once the discomfort subsides, you are left with a feeling of immense relaxation.
You can have someone apply Sananga to your eyes or apply it yourself.
1. Create a sacred space
Find a calm and quiet setting. Take a moment to honor this practice.
Ligh a candle or burn incense.
2. Lie down and close your eyes
3. Sananga prayer
Use this medicine with intention.
Talk with the spirit of Sananga and communicate.
There is no recipe for this prayer. You can tune into your heart and communicate from there.
Here is an example of a Sananga prayer:
- Place the Sananga bottle on your third eye (forehead).
- Give gratitude to the spirit of Sananga for the medicine. Ask to clear your energy field, open your inner vision and intuition, and heal your physical sight.
- Place the bottle on your chest and ask the medicine to help you perceive life from the heart space.
- Close the prayer with gratitude.
4. Apply Sananga
With your eyes closed, apply one drop of the medicine in each corner of your eyes.
Then, open your eyes so the medicine can enter, close your eyes again, and breath deep.
While feeling the force of the medicine, visualize white light as you inhale and exhale.
5. Sit with the medicine
Lie with your eyes closed for as long as you need to.
Receive the healing of Sananga medicine.
