What is Kambo

What is Kambo?

Phyllomedusa Bicolor, or “Kambo” is a natural vaccine from the secretion of a tree frog in the Amazon jungle. Indigenous tribes in Peru, Colombia, and Brazil have traditionally used Kambo as a medicine for the body and spirit.

This medicine is a powerful physical and energetic cleanse, and a master reset for the recipient’s systems.

Kambo is one of the strongest natural antibiotics on earth and enhances the immune system. It cleanses the body of negative physical and emotional energies caused by stress, disease, addiction, and environmental factors.

It revitalizes and renews the health of those with poor health, deep pain, or disease while cultivating human potential and personal evolution.

The treatment with Kambo awakens the organs, endocrine system, and defense systems, bringing them to their natural balance. It can even stop the growth of cancer cells.

Patients experience changes in the physical, energetic, spiritual, and emotional fields, resulting in feelings of cleanliness, lightness, tranquility, well-being, inner peace, and deepening of consciousness.

Kambo Procedure

At the start of the ceremony, participants share their names and intentions in a sharing circle.

We cleanse the space and participants with sacred herbs smoke, share Rapé medicine, and Sananga, and do a meditation & breathwork session.

The medicine is applied to the participant by making quick small burn mark openings on the skin referred to as “gates”. After administering a small amount of medicine to test for reactions, more may be applied to up to 5 gates.

The gates may be applied on the side of the arm, inside the ankle, spine, or where we both intuitively agree upon.

Once applied to fresh wounds, Kambo enters the lymphatic system and leads to an acute physiological response that lasts 5-10 minutes before fading away.

The peptides present in the Kambo do not produce any psychoactive effect. After the effects disappear, Kambo medicine leaves the individual feeling greater strength, sensory awareness, and mental clarity.

Kambo Ceremony

During the ceremony, it is necessary to consume 2 liters of room temperature water in the presence of the facilitator (not before). This helps flush the lymphatic system, liver, kidneys, gall bladder, and other organs.

Initial effects of kambo may include increased heart rate, perspiration, and facial swelling which usually subsides shortly after the ceremony. After a few minutes, the body will begin to purge water and expel blockages and toxins that could be stored energetically and physically, down to the cellular level. Purging lasts about 15 minutes, after which the medicine is removed to allow for participant integration.

Recovery and integration usually takes about 25 minutes, after which participants can drive and continue with their regular activities. The entire ceremony lasts approximately 2-3 hours.
