Inner Flight Retreat: Reservation and Participation Agreement

This document sets out the terms and conditions governing reservations and participation in retreats at Inner Flight Retreat Costa Rica. These terms may be updated or changed without prior notice.

1. Pre-Retreat Health Assessment

All prospective guests must complete and pass a medical and psychological evaluation before acceptance into any retreat. Inner Flight Retreat reserves the unconditional right to decline any reservation for safety reasons, based on screening criteria.

2. Booking Confirmation and Payment

To confirm your retreat reservation, a minimum deposit of the total cost is required at the time of registration, payable electronically. Only one discount or promotional offer per registration is accepted. The remaining balance is due electronically or in cash upon arrival as specified in your booking details.

3. Payment Obligations for Last-Minute Bookings

For last-minute bookings made while already in Costa Rica, full payment must be made prior to the start of the retreat.

4. Policy for Early Departures

If a guest departs before the end of their reserved stay, no refunds will be issued. Transportation costs associated with early departure are the guest’s responsibility.

5. Cancellation and Rescheduling

Deposits are non-refundable except in cases where the medical screening indicates participation is unsafe, in which case a full refund will be provided.

No-shows or cancellations within 48 hours of the retreat start will incur the full retreat cost.

Deposits are non-transferable to other participants.

If you do not attend and notify us in advance, you will receive a credit valid for one year from the original retreat date. This credit can only be applied toward attending the same type of retreat you initially booked and is non-transferable to other retreat types or programs.

6. Travel and Medical Insurance Requirement

All guests must carry comprehensive travel and medical insurance covering potential medical costs and losses incurred during travel and retreat dates. This insurance must comprehensively cover all possible contingencies, including but not limited to illness, injury, trip cancellation, delays, COVID-19-related expenses, and any other international or global unexpected events that may prevent arrival or cause the retreat to be canceled or postponed. Domestic insurance alone is insufficient. Guests are responsible for securing adequate coverage for such circumstances.

7. Risk Acceptance and Liability

Guests acknowledge and accept the inherent risks associated with travel and participation in the retreat, including but not limited to illness, injury, trip disruptions, or exposure to contagious diseases such as COVID-19. Inner Flight Retreat disclaims any liability for medical costs, travel disruptions, or retreat cancellations arising from such risks. Guests agree to take full responsibility for acquiring appropriate insurance and managing their own risk.

8. Code of Conduct

Respect for safety, healing, and personal boundaries is essential. Grounds for immediate dismissal without refund include, but are not limited to: sexual harassment, endangering behavior, persistent disruptive conduct, unauthorized substance use (except tobacco), or theft.

9. Remaining Onsite

Guests must remain on-site for the duration of the retreat, barring approved exceptions such as designated visits or local walks.

10. Confidentiality

Guest privacy is respected. Personal information will not be shared without explicit consent.

10. Activity Waiver & Release

All guests must sign a Waiver agreement before participation. This details the risks, responsibilities, and legal waivers involved.

11. Medication Contraindications

Guests taking medications contraindicated with retreat medicines may be denied participation for safety.

12. Admission Discretion

Inner Flight Retreat reserves the sole right to deny admission or dismiss guests at any time.

Activity Waiver Agreement

This agreement acknowledges the risks inherent in participating in plant medicine ceremonies and related activities at Inner Flight Retreat Costa Rica. By signing, the participant releases the retreat and its staff from liability for injuries, damages, or losses incurred. The waiver covers ceremonial participation, workshops, accommodations, meals, and any integration support provided.

Participant Confirmation

By registering and attending the retreat, participants confirm:

Full disclosure of relevant medical and mental health conditions
Abstinence from all psychoactive substances except prescribed or authorized exceptions
Understanding of inherent physical and psychological risks
Agreement to abide by all retreat protocols and staff instructions
Acceptance of the possibility of expulsion without refund for policy violations Governing Law

This agreement is governed by the laws of Costa Rica.

We look forward to supporting your transformative journey!
