At Inner Flight Retreat, we create that space intentionally: a private Shipibo Ayahuasca retreat in Costa Rica, surrounded by nature and the Caribbean Sea, where you can slow down, reconnect, and go deeper into your healing journey.
This is a healing retreat for those ready for more than simply getting away. Through Ayahuasca Shipibo tradition, and intentional guidance, you’ll have space to explore emotional healing, shadow work, inner child healing, spiritual awakening, and personal development.

We host Private Shipibo Ayahuasca Retreat year-round at our home in Costa Rica.

Retreat Prices
The Private Shipibo Ayahuasca Retreat is our most private offering, designed to host up to two individual guests or two couples at a time.
Each guest enjoys a cozy one-bedroom beach house with a queen-size bed, private bathroom with a hot shower, terrace, and direct access to the garden and beach. In addition, all houses include Wi-Fi, and guests have access to the ceremony space and shared dining area.
Single Guest: $3,300
Couple: $6,000
Payment Plan
To reserve your place, we kindly ask for a $1,000 deposit.
A second payment of $1,000 is due 30 days before the retreat.
And the remaining balance will be completed in cash upon arrival.
If you prefer, you’re also welcome to pay the full amount upfront.

We don’t take photos during personal or vulnerable moments, such as ceremonies, because the safety and comfort of our guests always come first.
However, we love to share a few glimpses from other moments, family photos at the end of the retreat, our ceremony space, dining area, the beach, and some of the delicious food we serve.

Simply schedule a retreat call with us to begin your journey. After we confirm that it is safe and aligned for you, we will send your registration form along with the payment details.
Our retreat takes place at the Inner Flight Guest House in Cahuita, Costa Rica, where we live and personally host our guests.
This is not a resort but our home by the sea, featuring a private beach casita and a ceremony space beautifully surrounded by nature.
Your retreat includes all ceremonies, coaching sessions, meals, and accommodation, along with full support and access to the ceremony space and natural surroundings.
The ceremonies are guided by Roberto and Alexandra, founders of Inner Flight Retreat and dedicated apprentices of the Shipibo maestros.
Each year, they return to the Peruvian Amazon to continue studying directly with their teachers, Maestro Francisco and Maestra Tessy, ensuring the authentic Shipibo healing tradition is honored and preserved.
The contribution for the retreat is $3,300 for a single guest and $6,000 for a couple.
We also offer a flexible payment plan. To reserve your place, please make a $1,000 deposit. Then, a second payment of $1,000 is due 30 days before the retreat, and the remaining balance can be completed in cash upon arrival (please bring clean, unbroken bills).
Alternatively, you may choose to pay the full amount upfront.
Ayahuasca is not recommended for individuals with serious heart conditions, severe mental health disorders, or for pregnant women.
If you take antidepressants, sleeping pills, or any other psychoactive medication, you must stop them at least one month before the retreat.
Before confirming your attendance, we carefully review each participant’s health information to ensure your safety and well-being throughout the experience.
You will make your deposit only after we confirm it is safe for you to join through our health screening process.
Please note that all payments are non-refundable. However, if you choose to postpone your participation, we will keep your payment as a credit valid for one year from the date of purchase.
This credit is personal and cannot be transferred to another person.
No, you don’t need any prior experience. We welcome both first-time participants and experienced drinkers, providing guidance, preparation, and integration support every step of the way.
During your screening call, we will review your health information to make sure it is safe for you to participate. All participants must stop any contraindicated medications before attending the retreat to ensure a safe and supportive experience.
Proper preparation is essential to ensure your safety and help you receive the most benefit from the medicine. Before attending, you’ll need to follow an Ayahuasca diet and stop any contraindicated medications, such as antidepressants, sleeping pills, or other drugs.
During our screening process, we will review your medications together to confirm they are safe. After booking, you will receive a detailed preparation guide with all the steps to help you get ready for your retreat.
Please fly into San José, Costa Rica (SJO – Juan Santamaría International Airport).
From there, you can take the Caribe Shuttle directly to us in Cahuita for a comfortable and scenic ride to the Caribbean coast.
Keep in mind that this service is not included in the retreat price and must be booked separately online at caribeshuttle.com.
